Their activities aim is to bring different realities closer to Indian audiences with different tastes and for whom these realities are often completely unknown. Hence, on a regular basis, the cultural section of the Institute organizes conferences, lectures, screenings, concerts and gatherings related to different areas of culture such as film, music, art, architecture, literature, history and philosophy. In order to make this cultural program possible, Instituto Cervantes collaborates with both Indian and Hispanic American institutions, companies, and public and private organizations. On occasion, we invite renowned Indian scholars and experts in art, and at times collaborate with Indian festivals, universities and cultural organizations in order to bring Hispanic culture to the heart of these institutions.

Artist and Exhibition-
The exhibition will be composed by Eva’s art PhD research based on her art and spirituality through the RajYoga meditation and the spiritual knowledge of the Brahma Kumaris Iswariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. The Witnessing Golden Age is coming exhibition will held, her last paintings as a confirmation, as verification and as evidence of her practice in the RajYoga meditation and her brahma kumaris life. As per introduction the exhibition will give basic information about the Brahma Kumaris Iswariya Vishwa Vidyalaya and the Raja Yoga meditation like the ancient technique used in Bharat (India). The exhibition pretends to offer a vision of spirituality where the spectator could find and resonate with their inner spiritual space. Witnessing Golden Age is coming, is a confirmation of the bridge between art and spirituality, and also pretends to remark the narrow difference between the spiritual and religion fields.

From the artist Eva Mª Pacheco.
As a human race we have celebrate our material, technological and intellectual achievements. Yet we are not free from stress, fear and pain. The greatest cause of celebration on earth will be when world is rid of poverty, illness, pollution, crime and vices like ego, hatred, lust and greed. Who can work out this solution? Time and again humans have turned to God for finding away out of dire situations. God is the supreme source of benevolence who can actually change this world and end all suffering. Can you imagine for a second God Himself showering His wisdom and helping each one of us to realize our inner virtues and powers? Time has come to realize our true relationship with God and experience His blessings to attain our highest potential and create a world of peace, joy and harmony.
As humble painter from Barcelona-Spain, who has been practicing raja yoga since 9 years, I present these paintings as glimpses of my experiences through raja yoga meditations.Golden Age is coming is a fact when we change, because world changes. Hence, a new civilization it’s possible based on purity, peace and happiness, but let yourself to ask: What am I doing for the self and world transformation? I you ask me the same, I will answer you: - As spiritual social worker everyday I’m practicing raja yoga meditation remembering God, experimenting the self as a soul and feeling the humanity as ONE family.

Vennue- New Delhi,India.
At 2011, the Witnessing Golden Age is coming exhibition will take place in the exhibition hall of the Instituto Cervantes, located at 48 Hanuman Road, close to Connaught Place. How else are we to explain the fact that every human culture has built houses of worship through which to pray to such unseen forces? Or that every known culture has buried (or at least disposed of) its dead with a rite that anticipates sending the deceased person's "spiritual" component, or what we call a soul, onward to some next plane, or what we call an afterlife? Wouldn't the universality with which such perceptions and behaviors are exhibited among our species suggest that we might be "hard-wired" this way? How about the fact that every known culture has related undergoing what we refer to as spiritual experiences? Perhaps we are "hard-wired" to experience such sentiments as well. Just as all honeybees are compelled to construct hexagonally shaped hives, perhaps humans are compelled to perceive a spiritual reality...as a reflex, an instinct.

All 6 billion plus inhabitants of Earth should be in possession of this book. Alper's tome should be placed in the sacred writings section of libraries, bookstores, and dwellings throughout the world. Matthew Alper is the new Galileo. Immensely important. Defines in a clear and concise manner what each of us already knew but were afraid to admit and exclaim. The cats out of the bag. Dressed in white against a white background, taken from the shoulders and up, the portraits resemble busts. The yogis seem to exist just as much for themselves as for the observers. Moving among these enormous and powerful faces, it is clear that the fine details and beautiful graduation of tones beautifully unifies with the balanced faces and peaceful eyes of the yogis. Hyperrealism captures and further transmits the ethereal. Søren Solkær Starbird met these yogis on Mount Abu in the Indian state of Rajasthan, where the headquarters of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is located. At sunset, these white clad yogis gather on a mountaintop to meditate. They practice “raja yoga” and meditate with open eyes. Before each portrait was taken, Starbird asked the yogis to meditate and to enter into a state of soul consciousness. Their expressions radiate bliss, love, peace and great inner strength. Søren Solkær Starbird has his atelier in Copenhagen, Denmark. Ordinarily, he takes portraits of musicians and other figures in contemporary culture and the arts, both in Denmark and abroad. The artist has been working on “Souls” over the past four years, and has exhibited the series at IN CAMERA GALLERY in Manhattan, New York. Starbird says, “It was a very powerful experience to show these portraits. The exhibition space was transformed into a temple in the city, where people could awaken their remembrance of the peace that resides in every soul. It acted as a much-needed refuge in these turbulent times.”

By Søren Solkær: This series of portraits of yogis have been taken over the past 4 years, primarily on the top of Mount Abu in the state of Rajasthan, India. That is where the headquarters of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is located.When I first came to Mount Abu, the radiant expressions of the Raja Yogis deeply inspired me. Is it possible to take a portrait of the soul? This led to my portrait series, “SOULS”. Before taking each portrait, I asked the yogis if they could pose in a state of soul consciousness – in meditation. Contrary to my previous experiences with portraiture, the yogis expressed no ego or vanity.

Spiritual Vision or Dristhi

In a state of high self-regard, the awareness of oneself as a spiritual being performing pure action, brings the awareness that other beings are also souls performing through their bodies. When there is this drishti; this way of seeing another person as a spiritual being, when the attitude of soul-to-soul is maintained, then there is true communication and pure interaction and the desired state of peace, happiness and purity occurs automatically. If you achieve a state in which you are naturally peaceful, pure and happy, you can be sitting anywhere and, because the thought vibrations emanating from you, the soul, are of such high quality, other beings are necessarily receiving your service.

Ego, the enemy

*Ego is the root of all sufferings….
*How do you know if you're reacting from a place of ego?If you feel insulted on any level, if a criticism hurts –it's your ego reacting, rather than you responding!
*Ego is not just having a big head. It is a great desideratum. It is of vital importance. Without perfect Brahmacharya, you cannot have substantial spiritual progress.

Abstinence or continence is the corner-stone on which the pedestal of Moksha stands. If the corner-stone is not very strong, the superstructure will fall down when there is heavy rain. There is no hope for you to have Self-realization or Knowledge of the Self if you are not well established in Brahmacharya. Brahmacharya is the master-key to open the realms of eternal bliss. Brahmacharya is the very foundation of Yoga. Just as a house that is built on a rotten foundation will surely fall down, so also, you will fall down from your meditation if you have laid no proper foundation, namely, the attainment of perfect Brahmacharya. You may meditate for, a period of twelve years, and yet, you will have no success in Samadhi if you have not destroyed the subtle lust or the craving-seed that lingers in the innermost recesses of your heart.

Brahmacharya is the basis for the attainment of Kaya Siddhi. Complete celibacy must be observed. This is of paramount importance. By the practice of Yoga the semen becomes transmuted into Ojas Sakti. The Yogi will have a perfect body. There will be charm and grace in his movements. He can live as long as he likes. This is also known as Iccha Mrityu or death at will.

The practice of Brahmacharya is the most important qualification for the spiritual aspirant, no matter what his chosen path may be—Karma Yoga, Upasana, Raja Yoga, Hatha Yoga or Vedanta. The discipline of complete abstinence is demanded from all aspirants. A true Brahmachari only can cultivate Bhakti. A true Brahmachari only can practice Yoga. A true Brahmachari only can acquire Jnana. Without Brahmacharya, no spiritual progress is possible.

Lust deals a deadly blow to the spiritual calibre of man. It is not possible for you to enter the spiritual path that leads to union with God unless and until you control lust and become established in Brahmacharya. As long as lust smells sweet in your nostrils, you cannot entertain sublime, divine thoughts in your mind. That man in whom the sex idea is deep-rooted can never dream of understanding Vedanta and realising Brahman even within Sata Koti Janma, even within one hundred crores of births. Truth cannot dwell where passion lives.

The Golden Age

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 87px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_bQeaNRb-QLc/Smcofni-GLI/AAAAAAAAAdw/ePE8ayh1z18/s400/plumas+pavo+real+.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361298405064579250" />
The term Golden Age comes from Greek mythology and legend, but can also be found in other ancient cultures (see below). It refers either to the earliest, and most ideal age in the Greek range of Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Iron Ages, or to a time in the beginnings of humanity which was perceived as an ideal state, or utopia, when mankind was pure and immortal. A "Golden Age" is known as a period of peace, harmony, stability, and prosperity. In literary works, the Golden Age usually ends with a devastating event, which brings about the Fall of Man.
An analogous idea can be found in the religious and philosophical traditions of the Far East. For example, the Vedic or ancient Hindu culture saw history as cyclical composed of yugas with alternating Dark and Golden Ages. The Kali yuga (Iron Age), Dwapara yuga (Bronze Age), Treta yuga (Silver Age) and Satya yuga (Golden Age) correspond to the four Greek ages. Similar beliefs can be found in the ancient Middle East and throughout the ancient world.

Some Utopianist beliefs, both political and religious, hold that the Golden Age will return after a period of blessedness and gradual decadence is completed. Other proponents, including many modern day Hindus, believe a Golden Age will gradually return as a natural consequence of the changing yugas.

Some pastoral works of fiction depict life in an imaginary Arcadia as being a continuation of life in the Golden Age; the shepherds of such a land have not allowed themselves to be corrupted into civilization.

...as described in the Mahabharata, a Hindu epic:

[...] there were no poor and no rich; there was no need to labour, because all that men required was obtained by the power of will; the chief virtue was the abandonment of all worldly desires. The Krita Yuga was without disease; there was no lessening with the years; there was no hatred or vanity, or evil thought; no sorrow, no fear. All mankind could attain to supreme blessedness. The result for the listeners is a special journey inside themselves, which produces a great sense of wellbeing, relaxation and a connection with their essence through sound, full of colour, beauty, rhythm and joy. The extempore voices of the singers, travelling on the vibrational wave of the quartz instruments, call forth flashes packed with a spiritual atmosphere; the violin flows swept away by that same vibration and creates resonating landscapes which carry us inside ourselves, while the quartz didgeridoos fit in perfectly with the quartz bowls, and create sounds full of harmonics which produce deep relaxation states.

Images and Voices of Hope

“Words create worlds. You will see life with other eyes. You will discover God's language. To be internally silent, do not think too much. Trust yourself. Trust others. Trust life. You will find it is easier than it seems.
Faith
When I am continuously being battered by the storms of life, and my very spirit is ebbing away, then all I need to do is hang onto that gift called 'Faith', that one support which will weather the storms. Faith does not depend on a clever head, only belief: belief in the self and the strength that lies within. Faith is the seed of victory and the foundation of making the impossible possible.
Self-respect.
Self-respect is not a matter of what you are doing in your life, but rather of how you are doing it. It requires that you bring quality and virtue into each action, whatever that action may be.
Freedom
True freedom means to be beyond the influence of others and of possessions.
Patience
Patience is a reflection of the peaceful mind. Ward
CONTENTS: The Four Faces of Woman is a powerful guide to greater Self-Awareness. If you’ve ever asked questions like ‘Who am I really?’ or ‘What does it all mean?’ then The Four Faces of Woman has some answers for you. These faces are the ones you wear yourself. They are the faces that give you strength and the ones that disempower you. You will learn how to connect with the faces that emerge your eternal beauty, power and joy and what to do about the ones that limit and undermine you.
AUTHOR: Caroline T. Ward lives in Santiago de Chile, from where she travels the world leading workshops on the Four Faces. Caroline Ward's experience and enlightened optimism make this book unusually encouraging for a wide range of readers who will thoroughly enjoy journeying with her. Stephanie Dowrick, author of Choosing Happiness

The Four Faces of Woman looks to self understanding and self love no matter which face we might be showing at a given time. Part of the process is to fall back into old habits so that we can know and love ourselves in deeper ways. Ultimately, this is the only way that we can reclaim our Shakti powers: the powers to withdraw, let go, tolerate, accept, discern, decide, face, and cooperate. I would readily recommend The Four Faces of Woman to all my female friends. This book is empowering, not in a financially successful, kick butt, take over the world sense but in a much more important way. To stand in our own selves. How truly amazing would that be? Dr Tami Brady, TCM Reviews. Caroline Ward restores strength and truth within the experience of being a woman. The Four Faces of a Woman is a journey of self discovery and awareness that empowers the core of your very being. Spiritually healing. A magical read! Lallouz International Magazine. This shape appears similar at all scales of magnification and is referred to as "infinitely complex. Naturally occuring fractal formations can be observed in snowflakes, clouds, coast lines, mountain ranges and more. Our genes and DNA create fractal templates which are used in complex processes involving information exchange. This process occurs within 98.7% of the so-called “Junk” DNA.

Webs related:

http://www.archetyper.blogspot.com/

http://fractalart.ca/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
http://mandalasdeyahaira.blogspot.com/2009/04/blog-post_7546.html

Silence

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 281px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_bQeaNRb-QLc/SmcoxYdPZ-I/AAAAAAAAAd4/K5Fla5lNsq0/s400/Puesta+sol.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361298710251661282" />
Silence is a discipline, not of doing, but of being; a time when we quietly attune ourselves to an inner strength to experience trust and self worth. You can transform yourself, the attitude of someone, the atmosphere and ambient with the power of silence. In fact what the science power can not reach the silence power can.
Have you ever used silence to make a point? Then you understand how very powerful this communication tool can be. Silence gives many messages. It can shed light or place a veil of darkness on a conversation. Being able to use the sound of silence is one of the greatest conversational arts. Our ability to be quiet may confirm that we are intensely interested in what is being said. It can also show that we have great integrity and will not be brought into conversations that could be harmful. It has been said, that the more people talk, the less they tell the truth. Ben Franklin said, “Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still is to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.” Silence allows us to keep a secret, to serve as a peacemaker, and to learn the deeper meaning about what is being said. Silence is a powerful sword. We can use silence to increase our understanding and learn more about ourselves and the people around us. When used out of love, it can show that we care deeply enough to listen with the intent to understand and need to absorb what was said before we reply. One gaze into the eyes of someone we love can speak more deeply to the heart than all the poetic words in the world. In this way our silence creates a bond and touches a person more intensely than the words we speak. However, the other side or the silence sword can cut through the air when our intent is to hurt or let someone know we are displeased. Dead silence can cause a conversation to feel heavy, as the speaker may not know if they were heard or understood. The art of silence is learned. When we are accustom to noise, we may mistake silence for a lack of understanding instead of the depth of understanding it reveals.

Don't get mad, get wise

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_bQeaNRb-QLc/Smcmn1uNpII/AAAAAAAAAdI/tq3hibdknMc/s400/tigres.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361296347285529730" />
We all now recognise that relaxation is much more than a game of tennis, a walk in the mountains or a hot bath. At the heart of learning to relax is the art of caring for all three levels of our being – body, mind and spirit. We are also realising that we have been misled by the mythology of 'get your body right and your mind will follow'. This is the illusion sustained by many of todays ‘relaxation industries’ . The truth is much more freeing – when we enlighten our spirit (our self), then relaxation follows naturally, and our true peaceful, loving and contented nature is restored. This, in turn, is the basis of our mental and physical well being. Hence the wisdom in the saying, "rest does not come with sleeping, it comes with waking"! http://www.relax7.com/

Spanish organizations for a better world...

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 120px; height: 80px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_bQeaNRb-QLc/SmcnjpNcg-I/AAAAAAAAAdY/wNJ378eRAds/s400/120px-Rose3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361297374719017954" />

*Fundación Ananta. Water is telling us to take a much deeper look at our selves. When we do look at our selves through the mirror of water, the message becomes amazingly, crystal, clear. We know that human life is directly connected to the quality of our water, both within and all around us.
The photographs and information in this article reflect the work of Masaru Emoto, a creative and visionary Japanese researcher Mr. Emoto has published an important book, "The Message from Water" from the findings of his worldwide research If you have any doubt that your thoughts affect everything in, and around you, the information and photographs that are presented here, taken from the book of his published results, will change your mind and alter your beliefs, profoundly. How the molecular structure of water is affected...
From Mr. Emoto's work we are provided with factual evidence, that human vibrational energy, thoughts, words, ideas and music, affect the molecular structure of water, the very same water that comprises over seventy percent of a mature human body and covers the same amount of our planet. Water is the very source of all life on this planet, the quality and integrity are vitally important to all forms of life. The body is very much like a sponge and is composed of trillions of chambers called cells that hold liquid. The quality of our life is directly connected to the quality of our water. Water is a very malleable substance. Its physical shape easily adapts to whatever environment is present. But its physical appearance is not the only thing that changes, the molecular shape also changes. The energy or vibrations of the environment will change the molecular shape of water. In this sense water not only has the ability to visually reflect the environment but it also molecularly reflects the environment. http://www.masaru-emoto.net/
I use 90% of water in my paintings,…the rest are colours…

Brigth Ligth Therapy...

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 116px; height: 92px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_bQeaNRb-QLc/SmcsSDoJxyI/AAAAAAAAAeA/jUi27PIBrmY/s400/Brigth+Ligth+.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361302570130851618" />
Bright light therapy is another popular method which prevents the conversion of serotonin to melatonin. Filled with the pure light that has now become its being, the soul radiates this energy as peace and love to others; a living lighthouse.Silence is the bridge of communication between the Divine and the divine in the human. Silence is where I find what is most precious.Spiritual silence is the positioning of the heart and mind in readiness for communication with the One. Neither is it communication based on repetitive words, nor on intellectual theories nor on asking for the fulfillment of limited desires. Sacred communication is the harmonizing of the original self with the Eternal One.Spiritual silence gives me energy, pure and selfless, from the Creative Source, to burst out of the cocoon of dust and routine, opening up unlimited horizons of new vision. To release the self from negativity, I require silence. Absorbed in its depths, I am renewed. In this renewal the mind clears itself, facilitating a different perception of reality. The deepest perception of all is my own eternity.The act of silence is as necessary for living as breathing is for physical life. Strength for living necessitates finding a point of stillness from which I begin and to which I return every day: an oasis of inner peace. Silence brings my mental and emotional energy to a point of concentration, where I can be still. Without this inner stillness, I become like a puppet pulled here and there by the many different strings of external influences. This inner point of stillness is the seed of autonomy, which cuts the strings, and then the loss of energy ceases.Silence heals. Silence is like a mirror. Everything is clear. The mirror does not blame or criticize but helps me to see things as they are, providing a diagnosis to release me from all types of wrong thinking. How does silence do this? Silence revives the original peace of the self; a peace that is innate, divine and, when invoked, flows through one’s being, harmonizing and healing every imbalance. Silence is full and it fills; gently, powerfully, consistently active.To create silence, I step within. I connect with my eternal self; the soul. In that place of unblemished tranquility, as if in a timeless womb, the process of renewal and restructuring begins. There, a new pattern of pure energy is woven.In this introspective space I reflect. I recollect what has been forgotten for a long time. I concentrate slowly and gently and as I do so, those original spiritual blueprints of love, truth and peace emerge and are experienced as personal and eternal realities. Through these, quality begins to enter life. Quality is closeness to something purer and truer in ourselves. Quality is the principle for more enlightened thought and for integrity of action. In that space, Silence teaches me how to listen, how to develop an openness to God.Listening guides me into the right position, opening the channel of receptivity. Receptivity aligns me to the reality of God; a very necessary alignment, if I am to truly know and be at one with Him. For receptivity I must clear myself of myself. I must stand clean, bare, simple, stripped of artificiality, then genuine communication begins.As I listen, I receive. As I receive, I feel and reflect, and gradually move into concentration. Concentration is when I am completely absorbed in one thought. Where there is love, concentration is natural and steady, like the still candle flame radiating its aura of light. The thought in which one is absorbed becomes one’s world. When the human mind is absorbed in the thought of God, the person feels resurrected; the harmony of reconciliation is deeply felt. In this silent link of love, one becomes fully reconciled, not as an intellectual process but as a state of being. I awaken. This wakefulness is where I am fully conscious of Truth. Simultaneously I become conscious of the illusions in me and around me and of the effort needed to remove them.This wakefulness enables me to respond and receive what I would not normally notice, either on natural or supernatural levels. In wakefulness, in this heightened state of knowing, a person spiritualises the self; he or she becomes a truer being. Within silence the subtle invisible rays of concentrated thought meet God—this is the power of silence; this is often called ’meditation’. Sound cannot achieve this meeting with God. Sound can only praise and glorify, through song or chant, the closeness of union with the Divine; but it cannot create it. Only silence creates the practical experience of union.Concentrated silence is the wordless focus of pure attention on One. Love for that One makes the focus easy and steady, fulfilling. This closeness of the self with the Supreme inevitably inspires the desire for change in the self; inspiration to better the self, to make the self worthy by fulfilling the original potential and, where one can, sharing the fruits of that realized potential with others.
